“He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3, Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Book of Proverbs: Daily Words of Wisdom
Tree of Life (TLV) Bible-Inspired Daily Declarations
Prayers Anchored in Bible Scripture Passages
A proverb from the TLV Bible Translation.
A daily declaration rooted in Scripture.
A daily prayer grounded in biblical truth.
A reflection written in the voice of Messiah Yeshua, offering compassion and direction.
One of God’s many names to draw you into His presence and deepen your relationship with Him.
Through the Bible we step into the living story of God’s people. The Tree of Life Version (TLV) translation—spanning Genesis to Revelation—reveals the Bible for what it truly is: Israel’s family diary. From Abraham to Yeshua, from creation to new creation, this is the record of God’s covenant love written through generations of the same family—and through Messiah, every believer is now part of that story.
Abortion hurts—I learned this the hard way. At 14, my first abortion spiraled me into self-destruction: mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational pain. A second followed, hidden in shame. I rebelled against myself, others, and God—until 2007, when I encountered Messiah Yeshua. His mercy brought freedom, faith, hope, and love.
This book is my gift: A safe space for parents to heal post-abortive trauma, a voice for the unborn, and a path to reclaim your identity. Healing is possible—His love transforms. No decision is unforgivable; nothing separates you from God's love.
To your healing,

“ADONAI is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.”
— Psalm 145:18, Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Introduction to Abortion Healing: 31-Day Start to Your Recovery & Spiritual Growth
Many men and women have not processed the aftermath of abortion, leaving emotional, psychological, and spiritual wounds unrecognized and unhealed. Unacknowledged wounds cannot mend; time may numb their presence but often deteriorates overall well-being, affecting the heart, mind, body, and soul. As you journey through these pages, you will identify areas of hurt and begin to receive healing from abortion’s unspoken impact on your life. Additionally, you will grow spiritually as you discover facets of God’s character and His immense love for you.
How to Use This Meditative Guide (Devotional)
While the book can be read in its entirety in one sitting, it is intended to be taken one day at a time. This allows you time to process the feelings, memories, and the words of wisdom received. As you do, you will experience God’s love in a new way. He will begin to reveal the areas of your life that need healing. As you heal, you will grow in trusting yourself and God’s presence in your life.
God has given us a book of wisdom—the Book of Proverbs. With 31 chapters, Proverbs provides a daily source of insight and guidance for each day of the month. Each daily entry in this devotional includes a passage from the corresponding chapter of Proverbs.
Before beginning each day's entry, invite God to reveal Himself to you. Read the passage aloud, pause, and reflect on it. Ask God to show you how to apply His Word to your life. Then, read the reflection and search your heart. Do certain thoughts or emotions arise? If so, present them to the Lord. Lay them at His feet and surrender them, telling Him you no longer wish to carry those burdens.
The reflections in this devotional are written as though Yeshua (Jesus) is speaking directly to you—offering His love, compassion, and guidance for healing. Allow these reflections to comfort your heart as you hear His voice in every word, leading you toward restoration.
As you engage with each entry, place your hand on your heart and speak the declaration aloud. Pray the breath prayer throughout the day, breathing in God’s love and grace and breathing out any fears, anxieties, or burdens you carry. Let these breath prayers guide you into a peaceful and intimate conversation with ADONAI (The Lord), who meets you in every moment.
Encountering God through His Names
Each day’s entry introduces or reinforces an aspect of God’s character through one of His names. God is the I AM—He will be who He will be in our lives. We can call on Him according to what we need in a specific moment:
When we need a loving Father, we can call on the Hebrew name for Father, Abba.
When we seek to honour Him as the only God who creates and rules over all, we call Him ADONAI.
When we need healing, we can call Him YHVH* Rapha or YHWH* Rapha (YAHWEH Rapha).
Below is a short list of the names of God1:
ADONAI — YHVH* — The LORD
ADONAI Echad — The LORD is One
ADONAI Elohei-Tzva’ot — LORD God of Heaven’s Armies
ADONAI Eloheinu — The LORD our God
ADONAI Elohim — LORD God
ADONAI Is There — The LORD as present in all places, never abandoning us
ADONAI-Nissi — The LORD our Banner
ADONAI Our Righteousness — The LORD our holiness in accordance with His justice
ADONAI-Shalom — The LORD is peace
ADONAI Tzva’ot — The LORD of Hosts
ADONAI Who Heals — The LORD who restores health and wholeness
ADONAI Yireh — The LORD Provides
Yeshua — Hebrew name of our Messiah, known in English as “Jesus.” The name means “salvation.”
YHVH* — He exists
YHVH* Rapha — He exists to heal, to restore, to comfort
*YHVH/YHWH is the sacred four-letter name of God revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures. It is often pronounced “Yah-weh.” Out of reverence, many choose to say “ADONAI” or “the LORD” instead.
A reference guide to the names of God is included in the section titled, “Divine Encounter: A Guide to His Identity.”
May this devotional draw you closer to the One who loves you beyond measure.

Mirtha A. Coronel is an author, sexual responsibility educator, and teacher of God’s Word who equips Christians to live whole — heart, mind, body, soul, and relationships. Her work is rooted in Scripture, shaped by prayer, and deeply informed by the Jewish heritage of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus, the Anointed One).
With a calling to restore identity and heal the hidden places of the heart, Mirtha brings truth, compassion, and spiritual insight to every teaching she carries. Through her book Abortion Hurts: Healing is Possible, her leadership in intercessory spaces, and her discipleship-based approach to healing, she guides believers into the kind of transformation that produces lasting fruit.
Her message is simple:
God heals. God restores. God realigns His children to truth — and from that place, lives, families, and generations are transformed.

While many women read this devotional, it was written with both women and men who have been impacted by abortion in mind. Readers of both genders have found it meaningful, compassionate, and healing.
Healing is not limited by time. Many readers begin this journey decades later and experience profound restoration, clarity, and renewed peace.
No. This book was designed with spiritual growth at its core and is written for believers at every stage of faith—from those who are brand new or returning, to those who have walked with God for many years.
No. This journey is Scripture-centered, compassionate, and focused on healing—not shame. While it gently confronts lies you may have believed about yourself or even about God, it is not condemning and not graphic in nature.
That’s okay. Many readers begin this journey unsure. If you’d prefer, you can start with the healing assessment to gently discern what your next step might be.
